The Energy Regulation Board, the Zambian parastatal with the mandate to administer and regulate the energy sector, has recently engaged Celsoft to develop the Fuel Management System, which the organization will begin using to carry out its mandate. Zambia has a uniform fuel price across the country and is seeking to implement a system that captures all fuel deliveries to all retail outlets every month. The data will be used to calculate claims or contributions by each Oil Marketing Company (“OMC”) for the purpose of achieving the uniform price.

On the 15th of December 2025, a team of three from Zambia came to visit Celsoft for a week-long brainstorming session for the same system. The three were Mr. Goliath Chimbimbi, Mr. Evans Mwil, and Mr. Mwale. This was done, and system development commenced immediately, even during the brainstorming session. This project is expected to be concluded by the 28 of February 2026.
